from summer to winter

On July 2022, I finally decided to buy another film rolls in order to take some pictures while I'm still in Korea. Most people said that sun rays in East Asia seems different, so I really want to take some pictures using an analog camera to see it. Well, I don't know whether it's because of the suggestion or not, but I feel that's true. As you can see in the photos below, the color seems more vibrant and the light gives a nice effect on the photos. This time, I tried Filmneverdie Kiro 400 and Kodak Portra 400. I can say I really love these two films and both are almost similar in terms of the result. I did the film development and scan in a small photo shop, 행복찾기, in Daejeon (South Korea) around the Jungang-ro area. I didn't know the price can be considered as cheap or not but the quality is good (it gives you high resolution!). Here are the results of my photos from summer to winter in Korea:

Filmneverdie Kiro 400

It's such a great experience to use film camera in Korea. Definitely would try other film rolls!

Spring 2022 ft. Rose Garden

This year is my first spring experience in Pohang! There's a river near to the area where I live and it's really nice. You can go for a walk or cycling near by the river (the road is so neat!). This afternoon I went to the river again and the roses were blooming. It's really pretty and it had a lot of different colors (and different smells!).

This place is called as "Hyeongsan-gang Jangmi-won" which means rose garden in Hyeongsan River. It is located besides the Hyeongsan River, in Hyoja, Pohang. There were a lot of people come to here to see those roses.

See those pretty colors! It's amazing to see how the roses have their own colors and characteristics. Don't worry if you do not know the species because there's an information board that will tell you about each roses (even their smell!).

One of my favorites. It has gradient colors, how beautiful!

Definitely a recommended place to visit in Pohang. It will be better if you know the season for blooming roses :) but if you just want to go cycling or having a picnic, Hyeongsan River is a nice place to visit. I'm kinda curious how it will be during autumn! (automatically mark my calendar to visit it again~).

Cheers,
Ainu
